Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Short notice: this site only uses technical cookies and browser local storage that it needs to work. It does not use analytics, profiling or marketing cookies and does not load third party services that set cookies.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that the site saves on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit it. They let the site remember some of your choices, such as display preferences, while you move from one page to another or when you come back. Similar tools, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), work in the same way and are covered on this page together with cookies.
2. Cookies and Tools Used by this Site
2.1 Technical Cookies (Necessary)
They are essential for the site to work and to remember the choices you make. They are not used to recognise you and are not used for statistics or advertising.
| Name | Type | Duration | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| alis_cookie_consent | Cookie and local storage | 12 months | Remembers that you have read the cookie notice, so it is not shown on every page |
| alis-theme | Local storage | Until you clear it from your browser | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme |
2.2 Analytics and Marketing Cookies
The site does not use analytics, profiling or marketing cookies.
3. Legal Basis
Technical cookies do not require consent (Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, Legislative Decree 196/2003, and the Cookie Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021). The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the controller in making the site work (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
4. Third Party Services
The site does not embed videos, maps, social buttons or advertising tools from third parties. The fonts are hosted on the site itself. If you send the contact form, the data you enter pass through the Web3Forms service, which forwards them to our mailbox; the service does not set cookies on your device. Links to WhatsApp, email and phone open external services only when you use them, and from that moment the privacy notices of those services apply.
5. Duration
The duration of each cookie is shown in the table in section 2.1. After 12 months the cookie notice is shown again.
6. How to Manage Cookies
You can view the cookie notice again at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
